INK Release strategy for DVD and BluRay

The producer of "INK" shares a wonderful Five Step distribution strategy that all indie filmmakers should know about!

"We began our journey in September of 2006 by scouting a location in Crested Butte, CO where we filmed the dreamy Storyteller forest. Now, three years later we have released our finished movie on Blu-ray and DVD"

You can pre-order both discs along with a t-shirt and poster on our website. Ink is on the shelf at every Blockbuster store in the country. In addition, it's available on Netflix instant and rental, iTunes, Amazon, and many other outlets.

I would like to share a bit more about our release strategy for Ink and what we have learned over the years. This strategy came out of years of attending festivals and having extraordinarily bad luck with traditional distribution deals and incorporates the recognition that times have changed.
