Fujifilm Ships 3-D Camera In Japan
Fujifilm will release its long-awaited 3-D digital camera in Japan in two weeks. There are no plans yet for a U.S. introduction.
The camera is supposed to be the first in world to show a 3-D image on the built-in monitor without the need for special glasses.
The expected street price for the FinePix Real 3D W1 will be approximately $636 or60,000 yen. The 3-D camera technology was first demonstrated at the Photokina trade fair in 2008. The finished version offers a parallax adjustment for the 3-D effect.
