Rubbish is an independent gem from directors Amy Allen and Lisa Denny.

This nearly silent short film chronicles a few days in a courtyard where a lonely, fastidious old man is angry that someone is leaving a giant trash bag on the ground instead of putting it in the trash can.

Trying everything possible to catch the culprit, he watches his neighbors closely but nothing works until he comes to realize that the source of his frustration may be the key to his happiness.
